Thanks to the cool dudes at Uncrate.com, who turned us on to Speakeasy Goods, makers of these fine all-wood lace locks.

No, they don't go on your knuckles, they go on your laces. (duh)

Best of all, they not only have a number of standard locks, but they will also create--just for you--a unique set made to your specifications (up to 8 characters per lock).

One thing we don't really understand, though.  The goods themselves are "crafted with pride in Portland, Oregon"...but the only cities they have displayed on their web page are New York and its boroughs.

Weird.  Definitely cool, but weird.
